It's Debatable

Channeling some of the current excitement regarding the upcoming V.P. debate here at Centre, we had an enjoyable "Java versus Python" debate in class today.  The two teams both made decent arguments, and although our impartial judge declared the Java team to be the winner, the more important outcome was a motivated discussion of the pros and cons of each language.

Incidentally, I love it when students start cross-linking to each other's blog posts.   The more of that the better, in my humble opinion.  All of a sudden the blogs are no longer talking in isolation, but they're a community that's discussing things with each other!
